2023 March - Medical Meetings and Workshops

Elke Bachmann, RN, MSN, CNM, facilitated programs on Maternal and Infant Health Care for our doctor as well as 15 other doctors from nearby villages. The people who attended were interested, appreciative and seemed to have learned quite a bit. We were also able to meet with the Regional Director of Health in Kouroussa. We toured the hospital facility and had a meeting with the hospital director and most of the doctors and nurses working there. We gained valuable insight into the Guinea healthcare system.
